Should Lydia's husband be arrested as a person responsible for her death?
From the text, we know that he left her to die, knowing very well that she wasn't well - she took drugs hoping that he would save her, because that's her horryfying way to make a fuss. From the objective point of view, of course, he should be arrested. He wanted her dead just because she was stupid and caused nothing more, than a problem to him (she made those shows with suicides before, every time he did something that she didn't like). I understand him, but letting her die was NOT a good option. She was a very stupid girl, but it doesn't mean that she deserved to die. He could just divorce her, and another pathetic fake suicide attempt wouldn't be his problem any more. He chose not to help her, when she was slowly dying, and he was next to her. He was 100% aware of that situation, and he killed her in a sense. Everybody should save one's life if he/she can. There are no exceptions (well, maybe there are few, but this doesn't apply to them for sure).

And letting someone die when you can prevent it is an offence according to our law.
