The first sound sent from Mars

The latest article I’ve read is written by Sophie Lewis from CBS News. It’s about the first sound ever recorded on other planets and sent back. The new Perseverance rover that landed on Mars a few days ago is responsible for this achievement.

It doesn’t matter what people might think, I consider this a great feat. For many years we have only been able to see photos sent by rovers or other devices from other planets, but now we can finally hear a recorded sound. We also know that the latest rover is the most advanced model that NASA has ever created. I’m sure that it will do even more exciting things. For example, it contains a small helicopter, which will check, if Mars’s atmosphere is dense enough to fly in it. This information will surely be useful for the colony that Elon Musk is planning to create on the red planet.

  2. I've just listened to it. Is it special because we didn't expect wind to be there on Mars?
