Is Fake News a serious problem in the contemporary world? Fake news can be found almost everywhere these days. Because of that, less people can distinguish them from real information, then some time ago. Also these days creators of fake news have an access to ways, that allow them to look so real, that sometimes it is really hard to prove their falsehood. That is a huge problem. It is even more terrible, that some people can earn a lot of money on clickbait. Now many people, for example children, have false view of the world, and it is not said at all, that they'll grow out of it quickly. So fake news is an enormous problem nowadays.
Is lying morally wrong? In my opinion it is. There is nothing wrong with not revealing the truth, byt lying-misleading on purpose, is very wrong. If you don't want someone to know something just do not tell him that and do not allow anyone who knows it to tell him/her that. Lying can be justified only if it's your only way to achieve your goal or save yourself from danger. Everything thot someone knows should be the truth, he doesn't have to know a lot, but what he/she knows should be the truth, even if it's irrelevant.
Is social distancing hard for me now? We were all forced to stay home and wait untill the situation with SARS-COV-2 improves. From objective point of view it was a good option for government. However it causes a "small problem" in society. We can't meet with enyone outside so it is a big social distancing. It can be a terrible expirience to many of us some may say that it demolishes their lifes but is it like that for me? No it is not, at least not now. I have never been stick to other people i can live alone at least for some time, but it is not to comfortable, being at home all the time. It is boring. I can only learn, watch tv, chat witch friends and play some games. I can't do much more (accept housework). But if you asked me if social distancing pulls me apart, the answer would be no of course not, but I must admit that we need to do everything we can to prevent social distancing.
1. What is the Scientific Method? From the video with Neil Tyson, in my opinion, the "scientific method" we can call every attempt of prooving if we are wrong, by veryfying our claim in a way, which shows the person - who in fact disagrees with us - that actually we are right. That is the best way to convince others to our arguments. The example of the scientific method is mentioned in the video itself. Neil is talking there about an incident in a coffee shop, when a waitor tries to show him that he is wrong in his claim, that whipped cream can't sink. Of course he didn't achive his goal, instead he prooved that it is Neil who is right. 2. Why do people believe in supernatural things like magic, astrology and ghosts these days, when they have science? In my opinion there are two main causes: The first one is the system, that has worked since the beginning of humanity. It is also a reason why something like religion exists. People try to explain things, ...
Should Lydia's husband be arrested as a person responsible for her death? From the text, we know that he left her to die, knowing very well that she wasn't well - she took drugs hoping that he would save her, because that's her horryfying way to make a fuss. From the objective point of view, of course, he should be arrested. He wanted her dead just because she was stupid and caused nothing more, than a problem to him (she made those shows with suicides before, every time he did something that she didn't like). I understand him, but letting her die was NOT a good option. She was a very stupid girl, but it doesn't mean that she deserved to die. He could just divorce her, and another pathetic fake suicide attempt wouldn't be his problem any more. He chose not to help her, when she was slowly dying, and he was next to her. He was 100% aware of that situation, and he killed her in a sense. Everybody should save one's life if he/she can. There are no exceptions ...
